Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about working with us.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, please call or email first so the right lawyer is available.

Which office should I contact?

Either office can help. Kuantan is our main office; Kuala Lumpur is our branch.

What languages do you work in?

Bahasa Malaysia and English.

How much will it cost?

Legal fees depend on the type of matter; for many conveyancing and loan matters, fees are governed by the Solicitors’ Remuneration Order. We will explain the fees and expected disbursements before you instruct us and give you a written quotation or letter of engagement.

What should I bring to the first meeting?

Your MyKad or passport and all documents related to the matter. Each practice area page has a checklist.

Can I send documents by email or WhatsApp?

You may send copies by email. Original documents will usually be needed later. Please avoid sending sensitive documents over unsecured channels unless we have agreed this with you.

Do you give free legal advice through this website?

No. Information on this website is general and is not legal advice. Please contact us to discuss your matter.

How will I know the progress of my matter?

Your lawyer will update you at key stages. You may also contact the office handling your file at any time.

Do you handle matters outside Pahang and Kuala Lumpur?

Yes, we act for clients throughout Malaysia.
